Why I suck at consistently posting

Howdy!

I’d like to offer my sincerest apologies for not posting in a while. Don’t worry, I’m still alive. Things have been pretty hectic recently with two major updates:

1. Strikes - Unfortunately, the WGA strike is still ongoing with no end in sight. Even worse, the Screen Actors Guild, or SAG, is also on strike. What does this mean for someone like me who’s a member of both unions? I’m double fucked unemployed. With acting and writing being my main sources of income, I’ve been forced to find other means of making money, which is always easier said than done. Don’t get me wrong, these strikes need to happen. The threat of AI talking our roles, especially when disabled actors already fight for jobs and accurate representation, is too high to not do anything.

2. Comedy - In preparation for filming my hour-long stand-up comedy special when the strikes end, I’ve been performing a lot more recently. Thankfully, this also distracts me from the existential dread of capitalism. If you’re in the NYC or LA areas, check me out! I can’t say much more because I’m not a union scab so sit tight.

So, yeah… that’s about it. Wish I had more for ya. It’s hot out. The planet’s on fire.

Oh, well. It’s almost football season.
